Mudric Lab (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy
explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices. This policy applies to
mudric.com
and any subdomains (the “Site”).
1) Information we collect
- Account data. If you sign in (e.g., with Google via Supabase), we receive your email address, name, and profile image from the provider.
- Usage & device data. Basic technical information (e.g., browser, device type, pages viewed). When enabled, we may use Google Analytics to collect pseudonymous usage metrics.
- Community & comments. If you comment via Giscus, your GitHub username and comment content will be public on GitHub Discussions.
- Preferences. Local settings (e.g., theme, saved posts) may be stored in your browser

or essential cookies.
2) How we use information
- Provide and improve the Site, tutorials, and features.
- Authenticate accounts and operate saved/limited-read functionality.
- Analyze usage to improve content (when analytics is enabled).
- Show advertising (e.g., Google Ads) when enabled and in accordance with your consent settings.
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with law.
3) Legal bases (EEA/UK)
- Consent for analytics/advertising cookies and newsletters.
- Contract to provide features you request (e.g., an account).
- Legitimate interests for security, service integrity, and essential operations.
4) Sharing & third parties
We do not sell personal data. We use service providers that process data on our behalf, such as:
- Supabase for authentication and basic metadata.
- Google for Analytics and/or Ads (when enabled) which may set cookies and collect identifiers.
- GitHub/Giscus for comments stored publicly in GitHub Discussions.
- Hosting, CDN, error monitoring, and email providers as needed.
5) Data retention
We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law. You can request deletion as outlined below.
6) Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and to object to certain processing.
- EEA/UK: You may also complain to your local supervisory authority.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): You may request access/deletion and opt-out of “sale/share” of personal information (we do not sell personal data).

7) International transfers
We may process data in countries outside your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., SCCs) for transfers.
8) Children
The Site is not intended for children under 13 (or the age required by local law). We do not knowingly collect children’s data.
